Directions from Waterford:

First left at Newrath Roundabout R448 (Mullinavat/Kilkenny) for 8 km. Turn left immediately before Irish's Pub.   Up cul-de-sac 1 km.  Mill House signposted.

Directions from Kilkenny:

Turn off M9 at Exit11 into Mullinavat Village and continue left f on R448 for 4 km. Turn right after Irish's Pub up cul-de-sac 1 km. Mill House signposted

History

The Mill House Restaurant has been offering a unique dining    experience since 2006 when the owner Kieran Laffan transformed part of this beautiful mill house into an  elegant restaurant.                          

The House was built circa 1790 built as a Mill House for the       adjacent Greenville Mill. It was given a completely new front in the late 1800s by new mill owner John Brown.   Today it is a haven of tranquillity set in about two acres of grounds.

The Mill House Restaurant has gained a reputation for quality food and the owner/chef ensures every detail receives his personal          attention. From selecting the     produce to cooking and presenting the food Kieran manages each     detail which   gives a personal touch to every meal.
Beautiful Surroundings

The restaurant retains the period charm of the original house. In  winter the traditional, welcoming fire in the dining room creates a cozy and    relaxing  atmosphere. The new        extension is bright and airy with windows on two sides opening on to the rose garden, water fountain and  garden walk. 

Gardens

The Mill House Restaurant  provides the ultimate relaxing  dining experience. Approached through a tree lined cul de sac, the restaurant is nestled in beautiful, mature gardens perfect for a leisurely stroll before or after dinner.

The patio is the ideal spot to relax, unwind and enjoy the unique setting away from the every day   hustle and bustle. The large gardens also provide  plenty of space for younger diners to run around and enjoy themselves.
